Provider Bio
Heather Wheeler, MD, joined Valley Medical Center in 2012 and is the Medical Director of General and Colorectal Surgery. Her surgical practice includes all aspects of general surgery, with special interests in minimally invasive (robotic) surgery and breast surgery. Dr. Wheeler earned her bachelor's degree from Duke University and her medical degree from University of Arizona. She completed her general surgery residency at University of Washington. Dr. Wheeler is board-certified in general surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving, kayaking, and skiing. She is a volunteer diver for the Seattle Aquarium and is a musician, performing locally in the Highline Flute Ensemble.
